Awesome. I might just have the worst case of Strep Throat I’ve ever had.
Yesterday, I had a fever of 100 (not too bad, but still elevated). My throat was so sore I could barely swallow.
So I gargled some salt water and it was really burning at one point. So I took my camera and used this bright flashlight app and looked, my tonsil was so swollen it had a hole in it. It was all cracky like as if it was so swollen it just ruptured. I also had an earache. The other tonsil was covered in white. But the urgent cares had just closed so I had no choice but to wait until today.
My grandma bought me some nyquil, i took that and passed out. Then I woke up took another dosage and could barely even swallow. Passed out. Just woke up and looked, the hole in my tonsil is now scabbed over and there’s another hole. My ear still hurts even after putting hydrogen peroxide in it. I don’t believe I have a fever anymore, since I broke it eating chicken noodle soup yesterday. When I swallow, it feels like I’m swallowing rocks. My throat is so sore and chunky and dry. I just took a swig of gatorade and almost spit it out cause I was coughing so bad from it burning my tonsil. :( My grandma just told me she’s going to take me to urgent care and pay for my copay and meds if I get some (which c’mon, I’m definitely gonna get some antibiotics). She’s awesome, I love her. I know I vent about her a lot on here, but when it comes down to it, she’s a good grandmother.
